The Garden Plans

“If you have a Garden and a Library, you have everything you need”- Cicero

Gardens have always played a role in romanticism. The Secret Garden was perhaps my first introduction to the ever powerful magnetism a garden can have to creativity and escapism. And then there were the long strolls taken by all Janes Austen’s heroines as they contemplated marriage, friendship or life in all its wonders or dreariness. The Garden – the place of magic and stillness. The Garden – only the most fitting place for Kathleen Kelly and Joe Fox to finally meet to make the most delicious of movie endings.

And now I am about to embark on a journey where I can initiate the birth of my own Garden, a place that I hope would one day go beyond what we create and take on a life of its own.
